Funny!
So Jordan went to this website called makemebabies.com. Below are pictures of what our boy and girl are supposedly supposed to look like. I think it is hilarious! I was entertained when he showed me them, so I decided to post them for all of you :)
Lucky................Unlucky!
LUCKY - Yesterday, Jordan and I went to work like always and while Jordan and I IM each other at work. He told me that he got another raise. YAY, a whole dollar. I was so excited for him. He is now a team leader at his job and has only been working there since January. Congrats babe. You're great!

LUCKY - So on my way home from work everyday I listen to KBULL93, a country station. Around the time I get off work there is an Outrageous Brain Buster. It is pretty much just a random question and if you call in and you are the first caller to get the right answer you win. The questions yesterday was something like, "Children were asked, if your mom wasn't around, what would you put on your hot dog? What did 25% of the children say?" Well some days I try to call in, but I always get a busy signal. BUT yesterday it rang and rang and rang. They finally answered and I said, "Chocolate Syrup!" The guy on the other end said,"YOU'RE RIGHT" I was like "wahoo!" and he said, "you need to sound more excited then that." and I was like "WAHOO!" I WAS ON THE RADIO! My voice was on the radio. HOW EMBARRASSING! But hey, I won 4 tickets to the State Fair. Jordan and I will be going in the next few weeks.

UNLUCKY So we have been planning on going to the Dave Matthews Band Concert for months, and yesterday was the date. So after work we grabbed something to eat and headed for the concert at the USAUNA Amphitheater in Salt Lake. Traffic was pretty bad but we made it. When we arrived there weren't any cars in the parking lot. :( There was a small sign on the gate that said the concert had been postponed and to stay tuned. WE HAD NO IDEA. My sister said that she has known about it for like a week. WHY DIDN'T SHE TELL US? She thought we would know. Ah. . . Man. So we had a nice little trip to Salt Lake. We visited my two sisters for a little while and we got our State Fair Tickets (Thanks to Melissa)

We Finished! :)
Here are the five of us before the race. I look like I just woke up because I did. :)
My love and I before the race. I was really sick and thought about not doing it, but I did it.
Jordan and I decided that we would cross the finish line holding hands, walking. YAY, we finished.
After the race, there was a lot of food and drink. My feet were dead but my sister-in-laws blisters were the size of quarters, so I can't complain.
I just want to thank Jordan for doing this with me. I was sick in the morning and nervous I wouldn't be able to finish. Jordan was right by me the whole time. Thanks so much babe. It means so much to me :)

Loved it!
Last night we went with some friends to the dollar theater. We went to Iron Man. I was a little nervous about the movie, but who cares it is only $1.25. I really liked this movie. After the movie we went to Yoasis(kinda like Spoon me, but Spoon me is better). It was nice to go out with some friends and enjoy the night.
Tomorrow :]
The marathon is tomorrow. Wow it came way to fast. I am really excited for this weekend. Jordan and I are going to stay 2 nights in Park City and enjoy our time together (that's if we can move after running :) ) Wish us luck. I'll post pictures soon.

Lions..and Tigers and Bears. O MY!
Drag Racing
Jordan, MicKlane and my dad all did the drag racing at Lagoon. Sad to say, but my little brother beat Jordan 2/3 times. To make Jordan feel better we told him that it is because MicKlane has been driving since he could walk.
My dad also raced after Jordan and MicKlane. He raced and beat the guy two out of the three times. This meant that MicKlane and my dad had to race each other. My little brother won once, only because my dad fouled (starting to early).
It was really fun to watch
Lagoon!
My whole family went to Lagoon on Saturday. We had a really good time. Thanks you mom and dad for buying us tickets and getting us a hotel room :)

So I went I wicked. It was actually really fun. It took Jordan all day to convince me but I did it. It is now my favorite roller coaster ride. The picture above is Wicket. It goes straight up and straight down. We went on it two times :)

Right Before we went on the Wild Mouse.

A Great Day!
For our 1 year mark Jordan got me something I have been wanting for a long time. A LADDER SHELF. I think they are so cute. He got me this at Roberts Craft, and said he was going to get me the black one but it wouldn't fit in the car. I don't know if I will go and exchange for the black one so I don't have to paint, or if I will keep this one and paint it black and sand the edges. I can't decide.
For dinner we went to Dennys because it was the place we went to the night we met. I think I probably got the same thing as last time. I love their Chicken, Bacon Ranch Sandwich with Seasoned Fries. It is probably the most fattening thing on the menu, but it is so worth it. lol
We also went to the temple with Jordan's family. His cousin Collin left for the MTC today so we did a session together. I love the temple and the feeling that I have when I am there.
I am so thankful for Jordan and all that he does for me. I love you Jordan and thanks for the great day :)

Thanks Babe :)
I asked Jordan to write a short paragraph about our first year.
A year ago today I met my wonderful wife, Mandy. I am so lucky to have her. I love her sooooooooooooo much. Just before I met her, I was feeling pretty bored and couldn’t wait to get back to school to start dating lots of girls, and having lots of fun. That was Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007. The next day I went to a fireside for young single adults. That’s when I first noticed her. I was sitting all the way in the back and she was sitting a few rows up. I thought she was beautiful, but had no real intention of dating her, because I was leaving Cedar in a few weeks to go to Provo for school. I didn’t talk to her there. Later a friend of mine invited me to his friend’s ward prayer. She happened to be there, invited by a friend, and that’s where we first spoke to each other. We hit it off so well, that we were talking about getting married even before I left to visit my brother in North Carolina, about a week and a half later. Obviously, I didn’t go up to Provo and date lots of girls, but I have had a lot of fun this first year with Mandy. I can’t believe it has been a year already. Time is flying by with her.

One Year :)
MY THOUGHTS OF 1 year ago today!
It was a Sunday and I was taking a nap when my roommate came in and was like, "Wanna go to the fireside?" I replied saying that I may come a little later (I wanted to sleep a little longer) About five minutes later I felt that I should go to this fireside for some reason. I got up, got dressed and headed to the church.
The fireside was great, to be honest, I don't recall what it was about. After the fireside everyone would just talk. I was talking with my friend and updating her on my current dating status and I said that at that point I hated boys and I didn't know how long that was going to last for (I had some horrible experiences with boys the past few months).
While we were talking another friend of ours came up and invited us to her ward prayer. We both accepted the offer and we headed to her house. When I arrived my great friend Timian was there and I was so excited to see her. We talked and she said that she was having games at her house after. She also invited two guys that we met there and this happened to be Jordan and his friend Trent.
We played a few games at Trent decided to invite us to his parents house. We took a tour and watch a small portion of a movie on the big screen. At this point, Jordan and I hadn't talked a lot. We introduced ourselves but that is about it.
I was planning on going to Denny's with my friends at mid-night (We'd do this every Sunday night) but we were off roading in Trent's Jeep at this time. We stopped and watch the meteor shower for a few minutes and then headed to Denny's. Denny's is the first time I really noticed Jordan's great personality. I was laughing the whole time; It could also be because it was like 3 in the morning ;).
After Denny's we decided that we should watch a little more of the meteor shower. We went to the park and the four of us laid on a few small blankets. It was so cold. This is were Jordan and I started talking and clicking. We stayed at the park until like 5 in the morning. Timian and I had work at 7:00 in the morning and Jordan had to leave for work even earlier than that. Jordan got my phone number and we text each other a few times during the day.
Monday night I worked at my second job and got off at like 9:30. After work I met up with Jordan and Trent. We headed to my house and just chatted. I remember that Jordan's siblings called him multiple times to come home (his parents were out of town for their 25th anniversary) and after the 3rd phone call I made him go home :).
I just a can't believe that it was a year ago. I think back on our first date and how much I liked him and I can't even compare it to how much I LOVE HIM NOW. I am the luckiest girl in the world. Jordan is the best husband ever. He is such a great example to me and I know he would do anything for me. We have so much fun together and our love for each other grows so much everyday. I am so thankful for a husband that will do the dishes, help with the laundry and clean the bathroom. I honestly don't know what I would do with out Jordan. I can't wait til we can start our own family; he is going to make the best father ever.
I love you Jordan and I am the luckiest girl in the world. Thank you for the best year of my life and I am so happy that we get to spend eternity together. :)

So close, and I need help!
Our 1/2 marathon is less than 2 weeks away. I am getting really nervous. We haven't been training like we should, but we do run every once in awhile. On Saturday we ran (w/ some walking) 9 miles. I felt really really good after, surprisingly. I just have to think to myself that I only have to run 4 more miles and I'm good. I have had a really hard time with this whole marathon thing. I just have a hard time believing that I can run 13 miles. I have always been the type of person that doubts my abilities, and this is something I doubt everyday. Jordan has been so wonderful in helping me and making me believe in myself. On Saturday he talked almost the whole time about football and it made the run go by so fast and I wasn't even really tired. So all I need him to do on the 23rd is talk about football for 13 miles. The thing is, I don't know if he is going to run by me at the marathon. He is a little faster than me and I want him to run his best, but at the same time I don't know what I'll do with out him by my side. I know that sounds cheesy but it is so much better when I have someone running next to me (especially Jordan). It is really silly but I am really don't know what to do...I really want Jordan to get his best time for the 1/2 marathon because we will probably only do this once, but I really want him by my side in the race to help me make it to the finish line. Help me out! What do you guys think?

New Favorite Place
Last night for our Family Night treat we went to :
It has been being built for quite awhile and I have been wondering who the heck would name a place this. I personally thought it was kinda odd. But Jordan and I decided to try it out. When I walked in I was like...dang this is expensive. By the time we were done I was very pleased. It is a delicious yogurt and then you can put three fruits around it. We got mangoes, strawberries and kiwis. It was so delicious and will probably be going back soon. It is located on Bulldog in Provo if any of you are interested.
