Sea World

Tuesday we went to Sea World. It was a lot of fun. We were able to see a lot of shows.

While a few people went on the roller coasters, we went to a 4D movie.
We went the the Dolphin and Beluga whale show. . . .
gollowed by the Shamu Christmas show. . . .
Mikah loved going on a few rides with his aunts....
Jordan and Michelle convinced my mom and dad to go on a few rides.
This is a picture of the picture Sea World snapped at the drop. Look at Jordan....haha :)
We ate some dinner at Sea world. Mikah loves his Grandma!
We fed the Sea Lions some fish. Mikah absolutely loved it. It was so funny to watch them. There was on HUGE sea lion that kept pushing his way through so he could get all the fish. We had to laugh. Sadly a tray of fish was only 4 - Mikah wanted more...
Near the end of the night, we went to the Sea Lion and Walrus show. It started to get a little cold, so some people bought some Sea World Blankets.
After the show, I enjoyed a hot chocolate...YUM! :)
We made a few last stops. We went to see the sharks and went to the gift shop. Grandpa bought Mikah a little Dolphin. He loves it! Thanks Grandpa.
It was a great day!

The Alamo and River walk

Monday we went downtown. We were able to go to the see the Alamo, go on a river cruise, have lunch on the river walk, did some shopping and went to the movie "We Bought a Zoo."
Near the Alamo, there were fish. Mikah absolutely loved them. He kept asking people for pennies so he could throw them in the water. He cleared everyone out of the pennies.
We ate at a Tex-Mex Restaurant right on the river walk. It wasn't very busy and
fun for my family experience of Tex-Mex.
The river cruise was nice. It was really cold, but it was nice to learn about some of the history in downtown San Antonio.
We went to the Spurs game that night. More pictures to come.

The Temple

Christmas day, after church, we went to see the San Antonio Temple. Mikah loved it. He always talks about going to see the temple. Everytime we pass a church with a steeple, he says, "It's a temple." When we were walking up to the temple Mikah asked, "Who's on top of the temple?" Michelle told him it was Angel Moroni. Mikah said, " I have an Angel Moroni of those on top of my nativity." He is so smart :) (He has a little angel on top of his manger in his nativity set.) It was really cold so we didn't stay long.

Christmas Day

We are loving having my family here. I thought I'd update the blog with a few things before I get so far behind on blogging.

Christmas morning was so much fun. Mikah loved every minute of it. He was spoiled rotten. With all my family here and presents from Jordan and I, he ended up with WAY too many toys. We practiced saying thank you after opening a present. He did pretty good. Each time he opened a present, we had him say thank you and go and give a hug to the person that gave him a present.
Here is Mikah with all of his new stuff. There is a lot of stuff you can't see. He keeps telling me, "Santa brought me a tool box and barn." It is so fun having him understand.
He loves his tool bench!
Thanks everyone for all the great gifts! We are so blessed to have wonderful families and are so spoiled.

Tennis

Yesterday we went to Jordan's work and played tennis. Mikah found our tennis rackets and has wanted to play in the house for a few days, so we decided to take him. He loved it and didn't want to leave. It was kinda chilly so we didn't stay long. Isn't he the cutest little tennis player EVER!?

Christmas Party

Last night we went to Jordan's work party. It was a lot of fun to get dressed up and spend the night with my love. The food was great! USAA hired some pretty sweet entertainment. First was Zuma Zuma! They are from America's Got Talent. They were so much fun to watch. You can watch them on America's Got Talent here:

The next act was Reza: Illusionist. We really enjoyed watching him too. We didn't have the best seats for him, so it was hard to see, but he did some funny crazy stuff.

Jordan and I enjoying his show.
There were SO many people there! They had plenty of food for everyone and I wish I would have eaten before we left. :) They had SO many desserts - it was crazy. I should have got a picture.
It was in the Alamo Dome in downtown San Antonio. I snapped this picture as we were leaving.
We left Mikah with a sitter. He did really well. It was great to spend the evening with my favorite person :)

This is for my sister Macie. She wants to see my belly. Note: this is right after eating a big dinner and LOTS of desserts at the Christmas party :)
