Girl, Vacation and Sleep

A Girl?

So the poll on the right side of our blog makes me laugh. Jordan and I both want a boy and I think all the boy votes are Jordan and I. There are 11 for a girl. Why? Is it because my mom had 5 girls before even getting a boy? I just think it is so funny. We have our appointment to find out what we are having. It is the day before my birthday, January 12th @ 1:40 in the afternoon. I am very excited. I already have a crib and dresser. Now all we need is to know how to decorate the nursery. :) (Well a lot more preparation than that, but that is what I am excited about)

Vacation! :)

Jordan and I are so excited. We are taking two weeks off work. Tomorrow, Friday, is our last day til January 1st. We are so excited to spend it with our families. We are hoping the weather is good. We are going to the BYU Bowl game this weekend in Vegas with Jordan's parents and we are very excited. (Lets all hope for no snow in Vegas) Then we will be going to my parents house for Monday-Christmas Eve afternoon and then go back to Cedar to spend Christmas day with Jordan's family. On Monday we will be traveling back to my parents house and spend the rest of the week there and then leave Friday to make it back to the Wake Forest/BYU Basketball Game. These plans most likely will change due to the silly weather that I HATE BTW.

Sleep

I am so tired ALL the time. I really don't like it. I am getting plenty of sleep every night. (usually over 9 hours) and I am still tired all the time. I got some nausea pills from my doctor that he said you can take the whole thing or cut it in 1/2 or even 1/4 because it makes you so tired. I took one WHOLE one on Monday night and I honest am still tired. :( I learned my lesson that I shouldn't take the whole thing and might possibly cut it into 1/8 to be safe ;) Jordan is so good to me with helping me do stuff when I am so tired. Thanks Jordan

We hope you all have a safe and enjoyable holiday season :)

Tree Time!

Last night we went and got the last of what we needed for our tree. I was having a really hard time because the Blue ribbon that I bought a week ago was all out at Roberts and we couldn't find anything. So I added silver and white ribbon. We then put 50 ornaments on the tree. All we need now is a tree topper. I will be looking for something that will work. We may just not have one this year :) I am so excited for Christmas!

Come What May, and Love It

I just got word that Elder Wirthlin passed away last night. I just loved Elder Wirthlin. This last conference he gave the best talk I have ever heard. "
Come What May, and Love It" It was amazing. I had the wonderful opportunity to teach a lesson on this talk right after Melissa went into her Coma. It was really hard to teach the lesson but it was worth it. That talk taught me so much. I am so thankful for that talk and the great life Elder Wirthlin lived.

An Early Christmas/Anniversary

With Christmas coming so soon, we are so excited to spend our first one together. I have all of Jordan's presents bought (a few aren't delivered yet) and they are wrapped under the tree. Jordan has most of my shopping done as well, but he says he has a few more things to get. Last night he wrapped a few of my presents and then asked, "Can it be Christmas yet?" I laughed and said, "No ;)" After a few minutes of talking Jordan said that I should open my Anniversary present, so I did.

Jordan is so amazing. He gets me exactly what I want. He got me this willowtree figurine that is named Anniversary.

He also got me some pearl earrings. I have been wanting some real pearl earrings for a while now and now I have some. I am already wearing them and love them :)

Jordan needed a present after this, so I let him open one of him presents. One of his Christmas presents consisted of an American Eagle hoodie and shirt, so that is what he opened. He is wearing the shirt today and it looks so nice.

I just can't believe that we have almost been married for a year. I love being married to the best husband in the world and am so thankful how well he treats me. My mom calls me "spoiled" and I have to agree with that. Thanks for everything Jordan.

***Jordan is planning on getting me a small Anniversary Present now so I can have one when it is REALLY our anniversary. I LOVE YOU JORDAN.

Family Pictures

Thanksgiving weekend my family did family pictures for the year. I don't have my whole family picture big right now but here are a few of Jordan and I. They are our first Family Pictures. I think they are adorable. Thanks Michelle and Megan!

3 Months!

Lilypie Expecting a baby Ticker

I can't believe I am 3 months along today. I am already done with the first trimester. Sometimes I feel like I am never going to be ready in 6 months and at other times I feel like those 6 months are never going to pass.

We are very excited to be parents and also really nervous. We are hoping to find out what we are having the day before my birthday. I think that would be a great birthday present. I just can't wait to find out if it is a boy or a girl. We are both hoping for a boy, but I think it is going to be a girl just because we want a boy. What do you think we are going to have?
