Birthday

I forgot to post pictures of my birthday. Josh and Cari watched Mikah (thanks) while Jordan and I went to dinner. When we got back, J&C came over for cake and ice cream. Mikah and Jordan made my cake. It was German Chocolate and SO GOOD! I had it for breakfast for 3 days in a row! Mikah had so much fun putting the candles and sprinkles on the cake.

Spurs Game - Jimmer

We went to the Spurs game on Friday night. The only reason we went is because Jimmer was coming to town. We were all very excited! Here are my boys excited to leave for the game.Mikah didn't care much for the game, but he loved the Coyote - the Spurs mascot (he remembered him from when we went to the Spurs game with my family). He was always saying "there's the Coyote" He would also comment on what the Coyote was doing during the entire game. At one point the Coyote was shooting t-shirts with a gun. Mikah said, "Mom, I want one of those white things the Coyote was shooting." I had to explain that we weren't close enough.

Can you spot Jimmer!? He was the only white guy on the entire Kings team...a little different than at BYU. Near the beginning of the game, they gave away t-shirts to one section in the arena and it was ours, so we all got a Spurs t-shirt!

The game was fun, but sadly Jimmer didn't play nearly as much as I thought he would. :( We did see quite a few Jimmer fans wearing some BYU gear. I hope he gets some more playing time as the season goes on.

Almost 28 weeks

My sister keeps asking why I am not posting belly pictures like I did with Mikah.

To be honest, it's because I am getting huge. I was barely showing with Mikah at this point and nobody believe I was pregnant. Now, I'm showing so much more and have gained more weight. Here is a picture to show you the difference. I'm definitely carrying this baby differently.

For my birthday, Jordan got me a new lens! It is an upgrade from the one I broke last weekend. I was so excited to use it! Mikah let me get a few pictures of him! I love this kid!

A few things he's doing lately.

- He touches my belly and says: "This is baby brother, what is he doing in there!?" - so cute!

- He finally plays by himself and plays pretend. I love it! He can have fun while I'm doing housework or something else.

- He has been eating really well the last few weeks. It's so nice not having to fight him to eat!

- He loves to play on Jordan's "fire". He says: "It's not a kindle mom, it's a fire."

Miniature Golfing

On Friday, we went miniature golfing. It was a really nice day and the course was very busy. We had to split up in 3 groups and Mikah wanted to take a turn with each group. It was a little hard with him, but he loved it. I actually beat Jordan by 2 strokes, I was very excited.

Natural Bridge Caverns

On Wednesday we went to The Natural Bridge Caverns. I explained to Mikah before that we were going to a cave. He was VERY excited and kept talking about it. Once we got into the Caverns, he was not happy. After about 1/2 hour and a few hundred stairs, Mikah said, "Mom - go up and up and up and up and up and go outside." He didn't like it at all (as you can tell from the pictures). The tour was about 70 minutes long. It was about 70' inside the cavern and 99% humidity - so we were very warm when we came out! Walking up the stairs at the end almost killed me, but overall, we enjoyed the Caverns.
