Just Like Daddy!!!

Mikah is starting to grab things. We got a cute little football from Jordan's Aunt Lisa and we enjoy watching Mikah try and grab it. Sometimes he realizes it is there, other times his hands just are moving and he grabs it. The other day I was wanting to video him and this is what we got :) Enjoy!

Up!

My family came up on Saturday and we had dinner and all went to see the movie Up! I know it came out a while ago and I have been wanting to see it. We watched it in 3D and all really enjoyed it. Mikah came with us and behaved really well. He watched a little bit of it and when the bird, Kevin, would make his noises, Mikah would do it. It was fun!! My sister Michelle had already seen it so she took care of him while we enjoyed it. Thanks Michelle!!

Bowl Crap . . .

If you know me very well, you know that I don't speak very good ;), I mean well. Since I have married Jordan he has corrected me multiple times. Many of you may think it is sad, but growing up where I did and having a father that grew up in Wayne County and probably speaks worse than me you should understand. A few examples of what I have learned, include the following:

-When I play a game with Jordan and I win, I can't say "I won you!" because that means that "I get to take him home as a prize" and so now I say "I beat you!" (this rarely happens)

-I can't end a sentence with a preposition. I also asked questions like: "Where are you at?" I know horrible. I have come to now just say, "Where are you?" This one has been a hard one for me, but I am now catching and correcting myself.

You may now ask, what brought up this post?? Well, last night we went to the temple with our ward. (which was the first time since I passed out 10 weeks pregnant, a much needed trip. Thanks Macie and James for watching Mikah) After the temple we all went to our Bishop's house for brownies and ice cream. Our bishop is a hunter, and not just any type of hunter. He has SO many dead, stuffed animals in his house. I'm talking, like probably 50+ that he has killed in different countries just hanging in his house. Well on the way home Jordan and I were talking and I said something to the effect of "Man, those bulls were amazin." Jordan was so confused. I guess I pronounce the word "bull" like a "bowl" that you eat out of so he was thought I was talking about the ice cream bowls. So after a long discussion I finally admitted that I said "bowl" and "bull" the same. I still can't say them right. . UGH!! Do any of you say "bowl" and "bull" the same??

Laughing

Mikah has been laughing for a few weeks now but every time I try and get it on video, he just looks at the camera with a funny look, like "what is that?" But today I finally got him laughing on video. He usually laughs a lot harder, but you can see that he can really laugh. I love it. It makes my day.

Also, tonight I went to Kohls and got a shirt, scarf, necklace and a pair of sweat pants for FREE!! Thats right I didn't even have to pay sales tax!! Wahoo!!!!

Two years ago tonight, Jordan and I met. CRAZY!! This is a picture is us on our first date, bowling. I just wanted to tell Jordan how much I love him and that I am the luckiest!

Mikah - 2 Months!!

I can't believe my baby is two months. He is getting to be a better and better baby everyday. He got a few vaccinations at his 2 month appointment. It wasn't fun to watch him cry, but he did really good for having to be poked 3 times. He is laughing a lot more now.

Anna's Wedding

Mikah's Blessing

Mikah was blessed on August 2nd. It was great to have family and friends there. Jordan gave a great blessing :) We had a small brunch after with family and friends. It was good to sit and visit. We got a lot of pictures of Mikah in his adorable tux that my mom gave us.
