Christmas...

On Christmas Eve I had a little present delivered to Jordan with some treats in it from Mikah and I made a little book titled "I love you Daddy!"Later that night, Santa came by to give us each a small present. Mikah really liked Santa. It was fun to watch him stare at him. :D

Here are two pictures of some of the stuff we got, seriously - SPOILED! I got a cricut, YAY - and a bunch of other stuff. My parents gave us a really nice 72 hour kit. I surprised Jordan with an itouch. I actually kept it a secert, I was so proud . . lol.
Thanks to both of our families for making Christmas wonderful. It was nice to get away for a week and spend time with both of our families.

Our Lives Lately......

Mikah now has two teeth, and on multiple occasions I have tried to get a picture, and failed miserably. Mikah either tries to eat the camera or closes his mouth as soon as I snap it.

We went to the Opening Game for the Utah Flash. Bryon Russell and Michael Jordan were supposedto play 1-on-1 at half time, but Jordan didn't show. Many of you probably have heard about it. They played it like Michael was coming out and it ended up being some random black guy. I really didn't think it was going to happen but when they started trick us, I fell for it and I was disappointed. I was happy I got to see Russell, but wish Jordan would have showed up. (when I was little my sister, Michelle and I were obsessed with Russell it was so funny)

For Jordan's School Club closing social we went to Jump on it. It was really fun and Mikah enjoyed jumping and going down the slide.

My little sister, Macie got married on the 18th. It was a great day and we are so excited to have another boy in the family. When I get some pictures of the wedding day, I'll have to post them.

I just wanted to clarify about the previous temple post. I said "That is the first time I'd been back since Jordan and I got married about 2 years ago" - I meant to say, that this was the first time I'd been back to the Manti temple since we were married. We have been to the Provo temple multiple times since we have been married. Sorry for the confusion.

Mikah meets....

Santa!!!! and he loved him. :)

This weekend was the annual King Christmas Party. It was so nice to see my extended family. We had lunch and gifts. My Aunt Lana did such a wonderful job hosting it :) Mikah met Santa for the first time and really liked him. I was nervous he was going to pull on his beard, cause he is always pulling on my hair. If you don't know, my moms brothers are all cowboys and like to wear wranglers and cowboy boots everyday- so Mikah was dressed for the occasion with his little cowboy boots - so cute. He opened his first present too. He got a little Leap Frog Caterpillar that sings the ABC's.

The Temple

My little sister Macie got her endowments out this weekend at the Manti Temple. That is the first time I'd been back since Jordan and I got married about 2 years ago. It was so nice to be there, but wish Jordan could have been with me. (he was at school presenting his Intex project, so happy that is over)

and to make matters worse...

the trap missed him :( It only got his tail - so he got away!

I don't understand........

So......tonight Jordan saw a mouse in our house and I freaked. I am petrified of mice, thanks to my mom ;) I have had my feet up for the last hour or so and I went to buy a mouse trap. I wanted a mouse trap and not bait because I don't want to find a dead mouse in my house in a few days. Well, I wish I would have went with the bait because......Since when did mice get so smart!!??? Ugh..........SICK.

Mikah - 6 Months

Mikah is a half a year old - CRAZY!! Time goes by so fast. I can't believe Christmas is in just a few weeks. Luckily I have been done Christmas Shopping for a few weeks now :) - except Jordan's cause we all know how well I can keep a secret, so I'll be getting his in a few weeks.

I wanted to look back on my little man, Mikah and how much he has grown.

Yeah, he is getting a bit chubby, but we love it. His 6 month appointment isn't til the middle of the month, but I am guessing he weighs around 18lbs. Eating wise- he doesn't really like rice cereal very much but he does like sweet potatoes and applesauce so far. :)

HOW BOUT THOSE COUGS!!!!

What a game!! It was so intense. I was so happy I got to go. Thanks to my in-laws for my ticket and Caroline, Macie and James for watching Mikah for us. :)

Thanksgiving....

For thanksgiving this year we went to my Aunt Susan's house. She is amazing and hosts so many events through the year. We had a good time and ate too much. Mikah enjoyed swimming with
Kenzie :)

Today I'm Thankful For.....

Sleep!!

Both Friday and Saturday night Mikah did not sleep like he usually does. It was horrible. I was so tired and not able to function like I usually do. Luckily last night he only woke up once! Yay. I hope he can sleep like he did last night. I need my sleep :)
