Goodbye Provo

We have officially left Provo. I'm so sad. It was hard leaving our home of over 3 1/2 years. It was where Jordan and I first lived together, where we brought Mikah home and SO much more. We had Mikah say goodbye to his room. He waved, said bye and ran around the room a few times.
Mikah absolutely loved the moving truck. He loved running up the ramp, but going back down he needed to hold someones hand. He had a hard time understanding why his "Big Boy Bed" had to go in the truck. When we ask him where his stuff is he says "Big Truck." When asked where we are moving to, he says "Texas!" He is already practicing his Texas accent. He calls Wal-mart "Y'all-Mart!!" We were able to pack pretty much all we own in 8x9x13ft of a trailer. Crazy. Can't wait to unpack in our house....more on that later.

Mikah's Party

We had Mikah's Birthday Party on Saturday. It was a great turn out and we had a lot of friends come and see us before we left Provo. It turned out really well and surprisingly we didn't have a lot of extras - thank goodness. We had so much cookie, cupcakes, candy and more. Thanks everyone who helped out with the party preparations. Here is the invitation I made. :D

Planet Play

Tonight we went to Planet Play with Macie and James - along with their brother and sister in law and kids. It was a lot of fun. Mikah absolutely loves this place! They have mini bowling that is perfect for him. He can throw the ball himself and make it down the lane. They also have go carts and they let Mikah go on them although he is 2 inches short of the required 36'.
He absolutely loved every minute of bowling - look at that face!
He doesn't quite have the form down, but that's okay. His form is more like shot put. Maybe that is in his future? Jordan did shot put in high school and I actually found a ribbon I won in Middle school for the shot put! It's in his blood. Haha.

He played the "baskethoop" game with dad and loved it! Look at his form - pretty good start huh!? ;)

Here he is going on the go carts with Uncle James. He loved it! Click on the picture below to see the HUGE smile on his face. After awhile, I decided that I'd take Mikah on the go-carts. I took him to the car and he said, "No, James. No, James." I was able to get him buckled and he enjoyed the ride. I asked him if he liked riding with Mommy or James and he answered James - twice.
Jordan raced with Macie, James and John - while Mikah and I watched.
We decided to do a game of Laser Tag. I love laser tag! We were doing Macie and James against Jordan and I - but a little boy (probably 12) came in last minute and joined Macie and James team. He made me so mad. For half the game, he followed me around and kept killing me. I was so frustrated. We lost. On a positive note, I got the best accuracy! Haha - probably because I was never able to shoot because of the 5 seconds after being shot. Jordan did win overall!

Dinosaurs

Mikah's new thing is Dinosaurs "Disores!" He loves them. We went to Walmart and bought him a few for $1 each. He calls them by their names that Jordan helped him name. Their names are: Tops, George and Spikey. He loves to play with them and always lines them up on the floor!

{Early Party}

My parents aren't sure if they are going to make it to Mikah's birthday party next week, so we celebrated a little early. My mom bought a cake and gave him presents. He loved every minute of it! He loves his dinosaur outfit and Thomas book so much already!

He was so excited for the cake.
He was a little nervous about the flame
but was successful with blowing it out! We all cheered and clapped when he blew it out and he did this.
Thanks Mom and Dad for doing this for Mikah. He is going to LOVE Saturday!

Mother's Day Weekend

We went to my parents for Mother's Day weekend because all my mom wanted for Mother's Day was all her kids to be home for a family pictures before we head off to Texas. We had a great time and Mikah went on his first ride on the go-cart with Grandpa. He loved it!
For Mother's Day, I got to sleep in. It was so nice. I woke up to Mikah putting a tulip he picked in my mom's yard up to my nose and saying, "Ha-Mother's Day!" Jordan and Mikah surprised me with a heart Necklace and Earrings. He said Mikah picked them out! (see necklace below)

Popcorn

Mikah absolutely loves the Popcorn song! When we are driving down the road and he sees a tree with blossoms, he yells "POPCORN TREE" if it has purple blossoms, he says, "PURPLE POPCORN TREE!" It's so cute!
