What's wrong?

So.... here is Mikah with his new toy. It is a jeep that is battery powered and is supposed to go on a track, but he likes it better on the ground.

Today, Mikah was chasing his new toy into his bedroom. A few minutes later, he starts screaming. I run in there and there appeared to be nothing wrong. I thought that he may have got his finger stuck in the wheel or something. But about 10 minutes later, I look at his hair and found this:

His hair was all in a knot - then it clicked. I bet the tire did that to his hair. So I went to the toy and found this:

I felt so bad. Poor kid. He has had a rough couple of days.

So if you read my post about his 2 injuries you probably noticed that I spelled rough wrong. I fixed it. :D

Note to self: a dog says "ruff ruff"!

Rough Day...

Mikah has had a really rough day. He has been walking everywhere lately and falls quite a bit. When he is close to the couch or wall he runs and then kinda dives to it. It is really cute, but today he had really bad luck. He dove for the entertainment center and was a little short so he hit his mouth. It was bleeding pretty bad, but now there is just a bruise on the outside of his lip and swollen a little. This is the best picture I could get:

A few hours later he fell again and his top lip started to bleed. Then he was outside playing on the grass with Jordan and fell into a rose bush and got a few scratches. Poor kid.

I hope he doesn't get hurt this much everyday. If so, we'll be visiting the doctor more than I would like.

Weekend Fun.....

This weekend was really busy. It was really nice to spend time with family and friends. We went shopping, to the Wheller Farm, out to eat and had friends over for dinner. Jordan played volleyball while Mikah and I went to the Womens Expo with my sisters. Here are a few pictures from the Wheller farm:

Sectional

Since Jordan and I have been married, we have been using my parents really old couches. They were my dad's before my parents got married, making them around 30 years old. Crazy.

We have been wanting to get some new ones, but just felt that we could survive until Jordan graduated, but then we got a tax return and decided we could use some of it towards some furniture. (We still put more than half of the tax return in savings)

We went furniture shopping the end of March and looked at our options. We went to RCWilley three, yes THREE times to look at the sectional we got before I finally decided that it was the one. (It's hard to make big purchases like this for me)

What really made my decision was the salesman gave us $50 off if we bought them that day :D After many weeks of waiting and getting them to deliver them for free because of the LONG wait, they finally came - and they came A LOT bigger than I remember them. Now that half of our front room is couch, we have very little walking space, but - boy! do I love them!!

Mikah's First Pet.....

TAKE TWO!!

We went and got Mikah a new fish yesterday. We decided to go with a Betta fish because I have had a few different people tell me that they are really hard to kill. I also think they are pretty. :D The guy at the pet store told us that gold fish don't usually do well in bowls because they can't breath the surface air, but a betta can - so that made me feel a little better about the two gold fish we killed.

Prom. . .

So we went to my little brother, MicKlane's, prom tonight. I know it's kinda kinda odd, it is a small town thing i guess, read my husbands opinion about it HERE. It was fun, I guess. It made me feel old. I did that 5 years ago. Crazy!

The fish died during the night. How did I kill two fish in less than 12 hours. I think I'm going to cry. :(

First Pets

Today while at Walmart we were buying some fruit snacks and we let Mikah choose what kind he liked. He had the options of "John Deer", "Finding Nemo", "Phines and Ferb" and "Operation". He went straight for "Finding Nemo". This gave us a great idea. We should get Mikah a fish!!

So we went over and looked at the fish. They had really pretty ones that were a little pricey. (not really very much, but for me they were) Mikah really like a bright yellow one, he kept pointing at it. :D

After chatting for a bit, I explained to Jordan that I didn't want to get one because I didn't want to clean the bowl. So he promised he would. What a wonderful husband/father huh!?

We came home with TWO twenty-eight cent gold fish and a cute little bowl to put them in and Mikah LOVES them!!

The goldfish aren't really 'gold'. One is black/greyish and one is white/yellowish. . .

We have been trying to come up with names and.... - Any Help??

I hope they are alive when Mikah wakes up..................

Easter Weekend

This weekend we were able to go and visit my family. It was great! We (Jordan and I) came away 5 pounds heavier (thanks to my mom's awesome cooking) and Mikah is even more SPOILED (He got SO much for Easter. Thanks everyone!!) We did a lot of things. We got our oil changed, Jordan and MicKlane went golfing, I relaxed while everyone spoiled Mikah, we colored eggs and rolled them, played games, ate more food, I took pictures of MicKlane and Kenzie (will post another day), went bargain shopping (I got 2 $2 shirts!!) and MORE!!

{Bubbles}

Aunt Melissa gave Mikah some bubbles. He LOVES them!! Aunt Michelle gave his this adorable outfit. I love it,but I'm not sure if he cares too much :D Thanks Michelle and Melissa for outfit and bubbles.
